Market Update October 2011

Written on the 19th of October 2011 by GWM Adviser Services

Dear Valued Client

I’m pleased to enclose the October edition of Market Update for 2011.

CLICK HERE to read full Market Udate.

This edition of Market Update looks at the developments with the European debt issues and the fiscal measures being implemented in the US to help their economy.

This includes the US Federal Reserve (FED) announcing “Operation Twist” and President Obama’s plan – the American Jobs Act.

Other key points from this edition include:

• Manufacturing sector growth in China continues

• Australia’s outlook weaker than a few months ago, and

• The RBA leaves the cash rate unchanged yet again.

Similar to what we’ve seen recently, markets continue to remain uncertain in the short term, so remember to remain focused on your long-term goals.

If you’d like to discuss anything in this report please feel welcome to call us on 1800 967 548.

Kind regards
